This was pretty much what it looked like today in Vancouver (still does, actually).
It’s depressing.
That’s why they say the Vancouver population would double if the autumn/winter weren’t so miserable here.
I should close my curtains.
On a happier note, I noticed that Starbucks has Pumpkin Spice lattes back now. Used to be my ultimate comfort drink when I worked at Starbucks. Decaf soy pumpkin spice latte. I’d make one for the road when closing the store, and it would keep me happy on my way home (rain or snow) at midnight - and because I’d make a venti, it would last me until 3am. Ordered one today from the Starbucks @ Sheraton, and it brought back memories. Outside the weather was gross, but the drink worked its magic and kept me happy. Mmm comfort drink.
